Ainomori's mobile game 梟子的樹洞 (Owl's Tree Hollow) is starting a closed test: decorate the tree hollow, care for your owl, play forest match-3, farm under the tree and send hearts to friends. All you need is an Android phone — every tester gets a keepsake gift.
Ainomori’s mobile game 梟子的樹洞 (Owl’s Tree Hollow) is about to start its closed test!
A little owl lives in the big tree of Ainomori. It has just finished tidying up its tree hollow, and there’s so much more it would like to decorate. Before the doors officially open, it would love to invite a few friends over — would you like to be one of the first guests?
What’s inside the tree hollow?
Start with a dusty old tree hollow and slowly turn it into a home for you and your owl:
- Care for your owl: pet it, brush its feathers and feed it snacks — it hops with joy
- Decorate: dozens of furniture pieces and themed sets
- Forest match-3: 120 levels in four chapters, with your owl as your teammate — plus a giant snowman, a honey-loving bear, a sleepy frog and a mischievous crow as bosses
- A farm under the tree: wheat, strawberries, pumpkins… just swipe across to harvest
- You can also go shopping together, keep special moments in the photo album, and visit friends with a friend code
Your owl never gets sick, and it won’t disappear if you’re away for a few days — it’s simply waiting for you in the tree hollow.
How to join
- Join the tester group with the Google account signed in to the Play Store on your phone — tap “Join group”
- Become a tester — tap “Become a tester” (if it says the app can’t be found, wait a few minutes)
- Download 梟子的樹洞 from the Play Store and start playing

All you need is an Android phone (iPhone isn’t supported yet), and it’s completely free. It’s open in Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, the US, Canada, the UK, Australia and New Zealand (not available in EU countries for now). The test lasts about two weeks — please keep the app installed and stay in the test. The game is currently in Traditional Chinese.
