New Game: Crystal Merge — From a Speck of Dust to the Titan's Heart

Heart crystals are the fruit of the Titan Tree, and the source of all magic in Ainomori.

In Crystal Merge, there’s only one thing you need to do: push two identical crystals together.

How to play

• On a computer, use the arrow keys (WASD works too); on a phone, just swipe on the board.
• Every crystal on the board slides in that direction together.
• When two identical crystals collide, they merge into a crystal of the next tier.
• After each move, a new little crystal appears on the board.
• When the board is full and nothing can move, the round is over.

Slipped? No problem — press “Undo” to take it back.

Every tier, recognisable at a glance

There are more than ten tiers of crystal. Instead of numbers or stars, we made every tier look different:

• The first two tiers are still just little shards.
• From “Morning Dew Crystal” on, each one is a whole heart crystal.
• Every tier has its own colour — even the tile behind it changes — and the higher you go, the bigger and brighter the crystal.

The very highest tiers seem to breathe, slowly brightening and slowly fading.

Your crystal collection

Every time you create a new kind of crystal, it’s added to the collection below the board.

The collection only shows crystals you’ve already made — the ones you haven’t met yet are yours to discover.

The goal: the Titan’s Heart

At the end of every crystal’s journey is the fruit the Titan bears with its own hands — the Titan’s Heart.

Rumour has it that after you make the Titan’s Heart, you can keep on climbing… What comes next is for you to see with your own eyes.

Your progress is saved in your browser automatically, so you can close the page and pick up where you left off next time.
