Lock screen, silent mode, even with the app swiped away — it still rings, and Rana appears right on your screen.
Five more minutes? Tap snooze — the second time she pouts, and the third time… she gets upset.
GOOD MORNING
Get up, and she'll wish you good morning. A new day starts right here.
DAYTIME
Drink some water, stretch, get some sunshine — or write your own little goal. Rana praises you when it's done, and never scolds you when it isn't.
SUNSET
Morning sun, bright daylight, a warm sunset, moonlight at night — her little bedroom changes with the real time of day.
GOOD NIGHT
How was today? Pick a mood, Rana answers you, and then she says good night.
ALARM
For an app that wakes you up, being on time is everything.
Up to 5 alarms, pick the days, snooze for 5, 10 or 15 minutes — plus a "ring in 1 minute" test.
Battery-saving settings often stop alarms from ringing. The first time you open the app, it walks you through the right settings for your phone brand (Xiaomi, OPPO, vivo, Samsung…), step by step.
FOREST BEDROOM
She lives in a little bedroom deep in the forest. Through the moon window lie the deep woods — and far away, the Sacred Tree Titan. Morning, daytime, sunset and night each have their own light.
CLOSED BETA
靛之森鬧鐘 is in closed testing on Google Play. All you need is an Android phone, and it's free.
Already testing 梟子的樹洞 (Owl's Tree Hollow) or Owly's Candy Shop? You're in the group — start from step 2.
Use the same Google account for all three steps (the one signed in to the Play Store on your phone). If step 2 says the app can't be found, wait a few minutes and try again.
No ads, for life! Every tester will get a redeem code later — just enter it in the app under Settings → Redeem code.
The test lasts about two weeks. Please keep the app installed and stay in the test. We'd also love to know your phone brand, and whether your alarm rang on time.
🌏 Open in Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, the US, Canada, the UK, Australia and New Zealand (not available in EU countries for now).

It's free to download. Small ads appear at the bottom of the alarm page and the settings page (never on the home screen or while an alarm is ringing); if you'd rather not see them, you can remove ads in Settings.
Yes. It uses your phone's system alarm, so it rings on the lock screen, in silent mode and even with the app swiped away. Some phones' battery settings can block alarms, though, so the first time you open the app, Alarm insurance walks you through the right settings for your phone brand — then try the "ring in 1 minute" test.
The app is currently in Traditional Chinese.
